JLS: 'John & Edward can win'

JLS singer Marvin Humes has given his backing to X Factor twins John and Edward Grimes.

The singer told GMTV that his group had got on with John & Edward when they met on last weekend's results show.

Humes said: "They can definitely win it, of course. I mean the guys are great. We met everyone on Sunday obviously, and they were really cool guys, really nice guys actually, and I wish them the best of luck."

Of their own return to the stage where they made their name a year ago, Humes added: "I tell you what, it's still scary up to this day to stand on that stage and face Simon Cowell, it really is.

"But we enjoyed it because we went back as artists, which was really nice, and thankfully we had all the support of all the judges, so it was great."

Earlier this month, mentor Louis Walsh said that he was "quietly confident" that John & Edward could emulate the success of his former charges JLS.
