Peter Andre: 'John & Edward are lovely'

Peter Andre has said that the public should stop being unkind to X Factor contestants John and Edward Grimes.

The singer told New that the twins provide entertainment on the reality talent show and are nice people.

Andre said: "I met the twins John & Edward at The Soho Hotel in London last week and I must say they are lovely.

"They came up and said hello and I told them I loved those red PVC jackets they wore on The X Factor!"

He added: "They have been getting a lot of stick recently and it's really unfair. They are young and having a bit of fun and they are actually entertaining. I think people should leave them alone."

John & Edward have recently attracted support from JLS, Stacey Solomon and Same Difference.
