According to the News of the World, the Britain's Got Talent runner-up will perform her debut single 'Wild Horses' on the November 22 results show.
The show's producers are allegedly hoping that Boyle's appearance will help the programme beat BBC One rival Strictly Come Dancing in the ratings.
"We're going all out to annihilate Strictly this year," a source said. "These big signings will really help us.
"Simon is very excited about Susan coming back but wants to make sure she excels. It's going to be nerve-racking for her being at the very same place where she lost Britain's Got Talent. The pressure can get to her and he's decided not to sign another big-name act for that night so everything is focused around her."
Yesterday it was confirmed that Boyle will also perform on the US show Dancing With The Stars.
