The singer, 45, finished second on the show in 2005, when he was beaten by Shayne Ward.
Writing on his MySpace blog about his latest plans, Abraham said: "Finally I am bringing out the Christmas single that a lot of people said they enjoyed, hope you like it. It will also be available to pre-order and I will let you know asap."
Abraham's version of 'Oh, Holy Night' will be released on November 23. He is currently touring the UK, playing 'Decades of Soul' shows with Alexander O'Neal and Kenny Thomas.
The ex-binman has released three albums since The X Factor and in 2008, he recorded the UK Eurovision entry 'Even If'.
