Rhydian: 'I don't mind John & Edward'

The 2008 runner-up told iVillage that he does not begrudge the success of the Grimes twins.
Rhydian said: "Everybody is talking about John and Edward. I don't mind them. It's not their fault they are still in the competition as it is down to the public vote, so they are obviously doing something right.
"They are 17 years old and going out there and having fun. Brain Friedman is bringing great productions to the show with them which I really like. It's genius what he is doing with them and their songs. They are definitely great entertainment."
He added: "The results were shocking! John & Edward's sing off was very entertaining. I am sad for Lucie [Jones] and it was a shame she was in the bottom two in the first place.
"Keeping the twins in was always going to be controversial. I do think Simon [Cowell] made a good decision by taking it to deadlock. This is always the fairest way and lets the public be the final judge."
Rhydian releases second album O Fortuna on November 30.
