Gemma Merna praises Cole, Minogue

Hollyoaks star Gemma Merna has revealed that she wants to know the secrets behind Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue's X Factor style.

The 25-year-old actress, who plays ditzy Carmel Valentine on the Channel 4 soap, admitted that she has admired the dresses chosen by the pair for the live shows this year.

Merna told Now: "Cheryl and Dannii Minogue both look fantastic each week. I just want their stylist."

She added: "Some of the dresses that they have worn are amazing."

Merna's co-star Claire Cooper (Jacqui McQueen) also recently praised the talent show's female judges, describing them as positive role models for young people.
