John & Edward 'changed survival song'

ITV

John & Edward have revealed that they changed their minds late in the day when picking Boyzone's 'No Matter What' as their survival song for last night's X Factor.

The twins were voted off 3-1 by the show's judges, who preferred Olly Murs's version of Eric Clapton's 'Wonderful Tonight'.

This Morning host Holly Willoughby said: "Every time I've played it back to you, there and when I played it back to you in the X Factor studio, you've both gone... eurrgh."

John explained: "Originally we were doing another song, but then we switched over to that song because we felt it was suitable for now.

"I feel like we could have done a better job, but it's okay, you know? I think we're okay with it, it's fine."

Edward added: "It was an hour before, but it's cool."
