Lloyd Daniels: 'Theme weeks got me down'

The 16-year-old Welsh singer said that he was satisfied with Cheryl Cole's song choices for him, but admitted that the themes, which included Diva, Queen and Elton John, were not suited to his style.
"The problem is that the theme weeks get you down really. The song choices were great, but the themed weeks were not picked for you," he told DS.
However, Daniels rubbished reports that he was considering walking off the show following criticism from Louis Walsh about his singing.
"There was no truth in that at all. I was never going to leave or quit. I did have a bad day, one day. Not in a really bad way, I was just really tired, wanted to lie down and go to sleep for a while," he said. "But by the time everyone had done all their soundchecks and then I went to do mine, I was fine."
Daniels became the eighth contestant to be voted off the ITV1 show yesterday,
