Recent rumours have suggested that Simon Cowell has picked Hannah Montana song 'The Climb' as the winner's single, but The Sun claims that Johnson and Murs are unhappy with the choice.
"Olly and Danyl have just given up on winning now," a source claimed. "They have thrown in the towel. They hate the song so both of them just look defeated.
"They realise Simon now wants Joe [McElderry] and Stacey [Solomon] in the final as it only really suits them."
However, McElderry recently denied rumours that 'The Climb' has been picked as the winner's song.
The X Factor semi-final is on tonight at 8pm on ITV1.
