Cowell 'can't stand Dannii Minogue'

Simon Cowell was reportedly left frustrated by his clashes with Dannii Minogue on this year's X Factor.

According to The Mirror, Minogue's future on the panel is under threat because Cowell felt that the Australian "upstaged" him on the latest series.

The pair ended up at odds after Cowell voted against Lucie Jones rather than John & Edward in week five of the live shows, which led to the Welsh singer's elimination from the series. Minogue later questioned whether The X Factor should be classed as a singing competition.

An insider said: "Simon has a downer on Dannii. He says he wants women to be feisty and opinionated but when they are he doesn't like it. He doesn't feel in control. At the moment he can't stand her."

Sources close to Minogue recently denied reports that she had decided to quit the talent show.
