The rock group's single 'Killing In The Name' reached the top spot as a protest against The X Factor and its winner Joe McElderry.
According to The Sun, Manson is now hoping that the campaign becomes an annual tradition.
"I don't have anything against Simon Cowell and The X Factor," he explained. "It's just nice to see real music at the top of the charts."
Manson added: "Somebody should try to do it next year. Can I suggest one of Nine Inch Nails's best tracks called 'Starf**kers Inc'? We should try to make it a yearly thing."
In this week's charts, McElderry moved up to number one with his debut single 'The Climb' while Rage Against The Machine slipped to number two.
