According to The Sun, the One Show presenter made a "cutting" remark to the twins just before they went on stage to perform their new single 'Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby)'.
It is alleged that Bleakley, who is from Belfast, told the pair: "You paint a bad picture of Ireland."
Dublin-born John & Edward were reportedly left "devastated" by the remark, although it is thought that they did not know who Bleakley was.
The brothers' version of 'Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby)' will be available for download from January 31.
