'X Factor' judges tip Shayne as winner?
Published Sunday, Oct 9 2005, 11:15 BST | By Daniel Kilkelly

The singer, who is one of four contestants in Louis Walsh's 16 to 24 category, is being tipped to go all the way and secure the show's lucrative record deal.
Walsh, along with fellow judges Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne, is desperate for this year's series to find a credible artist with long-term potential, after 2004's winner Steve Brookstein was dropped from his record label.
A source told the Sunday Mirror, "They have made it clear Shayne is their favourite. He has everything going for him. He's young, handsome and looks really good on TV - everything Brookstein wasn't.
"This year the judges don't care if the public know who they favour more - they want a real star and Shayne oozes X Factor charm."
