The 'All The Lovers' singer, who did the same job on last year's show, will apparently assist her sister Dannii again as they whittle down the contestants for the live finals.
Reports, which have been circulating on the DS forums, also claim that producer Rodney Jerkins will be judging the acts with Dannii.
Meanwhile, Simon Cowell has apparently chosen fellow music mogul Clive Davis as well as Destiny's Child singer Kelly Rowland to help him pick his best three acts.
Cheryl Cole is expected to be joined by close friend Derek Hough, while Louis Walsh may be aided by former Westlife star Brian McFadden and his partner Delta Goodrem.
The X Factor returns next Saturday at 7.30pm on ITV1.
