Minogue expecting 'X Factor' groups

Dannii Minogue has claimed that she is expecting to be given the X Factor groups to mentor this year.

The reality TV judges has previously looked after the Boys in 2007, including eventual winner Leon Jackson, the Over-25s in 2008 and the Girls in 2009.

Speaking about this year's categories, she said: "By the law of averages I should get the groups
this year, I've never had them! However, you never know what's going to happen.

"Whichever category I receive, all they need to know is that I'll support them every step of the way. I'm really excited to arrive at Judges' Houses to find out which category I have... the suspense!"

When asked if she was desperate for "Team Minogue" to win this year, she added: "To be involved in this amazing process and offer as much support of encouragement to new budding superstars is just incredible.

"Of course, I would love ‘Team Minogue’ to win this year, but sometimes being a part of the competition is just as rewarding, look at the amazing success stories of JLS and Diana Vickers."

The X Factor starts on Saturday at 7.30pm on ITV1.
