Katy Perry: 'Simon, Louis are sweet couple'

Katy Perry has reportedly claimed that Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh are good friends despite their tiffs on The X Factor.

Defending the pair's on-screen love-hate relationship, the 'California Gurls' singer likened their friction to arguments between "a sweet old couple".

She is quoted by The Sun as saying: "People see them bitching, but deep down they are very much in love."

The X Factor continues this Saturday at 7.30pm on ITV1.
