Scherzinger: 'X Factor was a great experience'

Nicole Scherzinger has praised Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh following her appearance as a guest judge on The X Factor.

However, the Pussycat Doll remained coy on a possible judging role on the American version of the show.

Scherzinger has been linked to the programme since she apparently impressed Simon Cowell after filling in for Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue during auditions and Boot Camp in the UK.

Speaking to Perez Hilton about a potential role on the US version, Scherzinger responded while playing up to the camera: "Oh I don't know anything about that one."

Talking about her appearance on the UK show, which is yet to be broadcast, she praised Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh.

"Well I actually did The X Factor in the UK, I was like, 'What's this going to be like? Am I going to suck?' because I'm much more comfortable on stage being on stage than in the judges' position," she told Hilton.

"But, I really enjoyed the experience. It was kind of crazy. It was just a lot of fun. Simon Cowell was just brilliant and Louis was just the sweetest thing ever and lovely.

"It was just a great experience."
