The four-piece, who impressed the judges on Saturday's audition show with their rendition of Cheryl Cole's 'Fight For This Love', admitted that they are often compared to the US disco group.
"We've had a laugh about comparisons to the Village People and we nearly went for a camper name," they told The Sun. "We thought about calling ourselves Three Builders and a Bum, as we all do manual jobs and one's unemployed."
Mark Higgins, Nathan Rawlings, Scott White and Glen Vine also confirmed that they are all in long-term relationships and insisted that their newfound fame would not make them stray.
The X Factor continues on Saturday at 7.30pm on ITV1.
