Brenda out in shock 'X Factor' verdict
Published Saturday, Dec 10 2005, 20:49 GMT | By Neil Wilkes

The news means that Journey South, Andy and Shayne have all made it through to next week's finale, giving the judges one act each for the final showdown.
Brenda, considered one of the frontrunners to win the series, had earlier performed versions of diva classics 'Respect' and 'Without You'.
"I wouldn't change a thing for the world," she said of the result. "I've had an amazing experience and I just hope that it's not over for Brenda quite yet."
More than 3 million votes had been cast in one of the closest votes of the series: at one point just 24 votes separated the bottom two acts. Brenda's category collegaue Andy had been the favourite to go.
