According to The Sun, FYD (For Your Destiny) comprises five professional backing singers and dancers who formed specifically for the ITV talent show.
The group consists of Ryan-Lee Seager, Matt Boots Newtion, Alex Murdoch, Kalvin Lamey and Jordan Gabriel. They changed their name from FYE (For Your Entertainment) after discovering that another group had already called themselves that.
Seager is said to have been a backing vocalist for Paulo Nutini and Alphabeat and danced with with Louie Spence at Pineapple Dance Studios. Boots Newtion made it to Boot Camp two years ago and has since worked with Alexandra Burke and French and Saunders.
Murdoch reportedly sang and danced for JLS, while Lamey has apparently worked with Duffy, Ironik and Chipmunk. Gabriel has allegedly performed with stars in his home country of France and the UK.
A show source said: "These lads have certainly put in the hours so far. They hope by forming a band they'll finally hit the big time."
FYD will be seen performing Plan B's 'She Said' on tonight's show.
