Kate Thornton has admitted that she hates talking to fellow celebrities.
The X Factor presenter thinks that most stars are "boring" and much prefers interviewing wannabe singers on the ITV1 talent show.
"The most fascinating people are the ones who've queued for an audition," Kate told the Daily Star. "They have a story to tell. Some of the most boring people are the most famous, they only talk about themselves. Everyday people are more inspiring than Madonna or Paul McCartney."
However Thornton has admitted that there is one celeb who she owes everything to - Simon Cowell, who picked her to front X Factor.
"Simon's had a massive impact on my life and I owe him," she explained. "He's changed my life in so many ways."
