The four-piece missed out on the cut for the final 12 last night, when Simon Cowell revealed his top three groups for the competition.
Speaking on This Morning, bandmembers Scott, Glenn, Nathan and Mark described their departure at the Judges' Houses stage as "gut-wrenching".
However, following tabloid rumours that some acts may be brought back to the competition in a new wildcard twist, the group said that they are keeping their fingers crossed for a new lifeline on the ITV1 programme.
"When we we heard the news about the wildcard, we were just as surprised as everybody else. We don't know what's in store," they said.
"If we were called back, it would be a dream come true. We've learned a lot since the competition started and we've spoken to the public, who have given us a great reception."
The X Factor live shows start on Saturday at 7.40pm on ITV1.
