The 'So Macho' singer, who assisted Cowell in selecting Belle Amie, 1Direction and FYD as his chosen groups for the live shows, expressed her confidence that one of the acts could provide the music mogul with his first win on the programme since 2006.
"It would be amazing if he could win," she told Star magazine. "It would be brilliant for him because Cheryl is monopolising the trophy year after year."
Sinitta also echoed Cowell's claims that he had been happy to mentor the groups, but hinted that putting Cole in charge of the girls may have riled judges Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh.
"I haven't spoken to Louis or Dannii about it," she said. "Dannii seemed really happy - the boys are a really strong category. I think it is true that Louis and Simon have the trickiest categories. It is a bit jammy for Tweedy Pie, Cheryl, to have landed those amazing girls.
"Simon doesn't have a say in it. If he did, he would probably win every year - he would give himself the jammy doughnut. You can judge early on who is amazing. Like this year the girls are especially strong."
