The singer, who went straight to number one with debut single That's My Goal, is worried about his voice and image.
"I always doubt myself about everything - my appearance, my singing," Shayne told The People. "I asked Louis Walsh, 'Do you really believe in my voice?' and he said 'Yes.' That's just the way I am."
