Wagner Carrilho, Treyc Cohen, Diva Fever and Paije Richardson were added to the final lineup on Saturday, expanding the competition to a Final 16 for the first time ever.
Speaking about the twist on the official show website, he said: "We were told that that we had four new wildcards, which you have to say was unnerving. You think that you have got your position all locked and then they throw a curveball right at you.
"I wasn't too best pleased, but you have to roll with it. And I'm happy for the guys that got in."
He added: "Just don't jump ship just yet. You might like Wagner, you might like that old style with the va-va-voom and all that. But I'm a different kind of guy, I'm more laidback and I hope you like that."
