'X Factor' Danyl: 'Don't bully Katie'

Danyl Johnson has spoken out in defence of The X Factor's Katie Waissel, saying that people should "lay off her".

Johnson, who finished fourth in last year's competition after being criticised for appearing arrogant in his performances, said that he understands how it feels to be "bullied" on the show.

He added to The Sun: "I wish that everyone would lay off her."

Earlier in the week, Waissel's mother asked for the public to give her daughter a chance in the competition.
