Virshilas blasts 'ridiculous' Horwood

Katya Virshilas has claimed that the Strictly Come Dancing judges were too harsh on Gavin Henson last week.

The pro dancer claimed that the panel, and in particular Craig Revel Horwood, were off the mark with their comments about his rumba.

"I thought the judges were very harsh," she told It Takes Two. "I mean Craig's comments were ridiculous... He is going to get better. He is a tango man."

Henson, who scored 22 points last weekend, admitted that the judges' remarks were a "wake-up call". "This week, we're doing a really complicated routine," he said. "And it could be special... hopefully."

The Welsh rugby star also confessed that he was desperate to not be knocked out last week because he was dancing in front of one of his favourite popstars. "I thought that I was going to get kicked out when Peter Andre was watching," he said.
