Answering questions from the This Morning hub, Adeleye claimed that Cowell's focus on the backing dancers during his performance of 'Zoom' distracted viewers from his vocals.
"What [Simon] talked about were two dogs mating in a corner as opposed to talking about my singing, so I was quite upset with that," he told Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford.
Commenting on whether it was a bad move having raunchy backing dancers, he continued: "To a point [I think it was a mistake], but I think it was more a bad move of Simon to reference it so much, you know?
"Talk about my singing, talk about my performance, that would've been nice. I was having the time of my life up there; I was enjoying myself but hey, I don't run the show."
Speaking about his future career prospects, he added: "I'm going to take everything I've learnt from the songwriting experience, the life experiences I've learnt through to The X Factor, and just try and put it together on a CD album and go out and perform my life and actually inspire people."
