Friedman: 'I told Waissel to audition'

The 24-year-old was apparently singing in an LA club with Daniel Bedingfield when Friedman encouraged her to try out for the show.
The X Factor choreographer recalled to The Mirror: "I was totally blown away. She was incredible.
"I suggested she ought to audition for the show. She said she wasn't sure whether she should but I thought she was great."
When Waissel turned up at this year's auditions, Friedman was surprised at her change in image.
He explained: "When I first met her she looked completely different. She had dark hair to start with and now she's platinum. It was like a totally different person."
