Tesco Mary: 'I have crush on Friedman'

Mary Byrne has admitted that she feels like "a little girl" when she spends time with X Factor choreographer Brian Friedman.

Byrne described the show's creative director as "amazing" and "handsome".

In an interview with X Magazine, Byrne said: "Any time I'm with Brian I get kind of dumb because he's so amazing. He has this presence about him and I get all shaky. I feel like a little girl.

"But he's great, a very handsome man."

However, the Tesco worker downplayed rumours of a romance between her and Wagner Carrilho, insisting that the Brazilian is not her type.

"Those are just rumours," she said. "That’s all they are. Wagner is a nice man, but he wouldn't be my cup of tea and I doubt if I’d be his."
