Jonathan Ross: 'I like Katie Waissel'

Jonathan Ross has revealed that he is a fan of X Factor contestant Katie Waissel.

The presenter wrote on Twitter that both he and wife Jane Goldman like the singer and urged the press to leave her alone, following months of tabloid scrutiny.

In reply to a fan, who asked him to sign a petition supporting Waissel, he said: "I like Katie waissel. And so does my wife. leave her alone you tabloid bullies... (sic)"

It was recently reported that X Factor judge Simon Cowell is planning a TV special that would see Ross interview George Michael.
