'X Factor' Lorenzo confirms full band gig

Former X Factor hopeful Ruth Lorenzo has confirmed details of her first gig with her own full band.

The Spanish singer, who reached the live shows in the 2008 ITV1 series, will play Friday Jams at London's 229 Venue 2 on February 4.

Tickets are available for fans to buy from tomorrow.

Writing on her official Facebook page, Lorenzo said: "Guess what... I will be performing my music live, for the first time with a full band... February 4, 2011 in London! Tickets go on sale tonight! Link to follow!"

Earlier this year, Lorenzo confirmed that she had split from EMI following a disagreement over the direction of her debut record. She is currently finishing work on the LP, which is expected to feature the tracks 'Burn', 'Eternity', 'Feel The Drums' and 'Bloodline'.
