Cole 'wants One Direction from Simon'

X Factor judge Cheryl Cole reportedly wants to take One Direction away from mentor Simon Cowell after sensing their long-term potential.

The show's vocal coach Yvie Burnett has revealed that Cole is "always flirting" with the boyband, and feels that she better understands their appeal to young women.

According to The Sun, Burnett said: "Louis and Niall from the band were sort-of chatting Cheryl up the other night, and she started teasing them, asking if they would like her as a mentor instead of Simon."

She continued: "She understands best why they would be attractive to teenage girls, and is always flirting with them because she sees what the young girls see in them."
