Steve Brookstein backs Cardle win

The series one champion claimed the the ex-painter and decorator "deserved to win" the ITV1 talent show, describing him as a "muso".
Writing on Twitter, he said: "Congratulations to Matt and the British public for getting the right man to win. Let's see if [Simon] Cowell can manage not to f**k this one up."
Brookstein is currently promoting his own Christmas single 'Don't Give Up', which is released this week and will donate profits to the StreetSmart homeless charity.
The former reality TV star downplayed the track's chances of reaching the charts, adding: "Matt will be Number One and good luck to him. He is a muso and deserved to win. Hope he has a successful career."
