The ITV2 spinoff show was last year hosted by Konnie Huq after previously being headed up by Holly Willoughby, Fearne Cotton and Ben Shephard.
Asked if he would like the position, Brazier told Heat: "It's my ideal job. But I have a lot of respect for Konnie, so I don't want to be rude.
"As far as I know, it's not even available. But in terms of my ideal presenting job, I would love to have the opportunity. I'm sure it would be the making of my presenting career."
Brazier appeared on 2009's X Factor final, providing live links from Dagenham.
Huq recently admitted that while she hopes to return to the show this year, she is not completely certain of her position.
