Shayne Ward will stick by his father

"He is still my dad at the end of the day," Shayne told The People. "What happened, happened and people have to serve time."
The singer added that he found it hard to stay out of trouble while growing up in Clayton, Manchester.
"I could have gone down the dark side," he explained. "A lot of kids there went the wrong way with theft, stealing cars, drinking on the streets. But I didn't."
