X Factor stars The Chefs have been ordered to stop drinking before going on stage.
Jean-Christophe Novelli, Aldo Zilli, Paul Rankin and Ross Burden attempted to calm their nerves with alcohol before performances.
"They've been sinking booze backstage as they have stage fright," a show source told The Sun. "It's made for very merry performances - but bosses have said enough is enough."
