The singer sailed through to the next stage of the competition after impressing the judges with her performance of Aretha Franklin's 'Respect'.
However, the 19-year-old was a "sobbing wreck" after failing to deliver a strong performance at Boot Camp, according to The Mirror.
"She forgot the words and burst into tears," a source claimed. "This year they do not want acts who can't handle the pressure and Misha fell at the first hurdle. She has a great voice and great potential, but she may seem like too much of a risk now."
Digital Spy forum member Martyn - who was in the Boot Camp audience - claimed that the performance "cost her a place at Judges' Houses".
However, another audience member, RandomPoster, said that they did not remember the situation playing out as claimed.
An X Factor spokesman said: "The welfare and safety of contestants is of paramount importance."
