The Girls mentor, who voted out the singer in last weekend's twist, claimed that the pair will "stay in touch for sure".
She wrote on her X Factor blog: "Awww.. It was extremely hard to say goodbye to Amelia because I have really gotten to know my girls and they are my babies. I will stay in touch for sure. In fact, she is coming to this weekend's show as my guest!"

Reserving special praise for Sami Brookes from Louis Walsh's over-25s category, Rowland continued: "All the other categories have such great talent too. I think the remaining boys and groups are incredible. But Sami is a beast too! Girl-la-lirl! Can she can siiiing!"
Meanwhile, the former Destiny's Child star added: "All the judges are definitely more competitive now because we all want to win, but we don't ever take it backstage. We all like to have a glass of wine in Gary [Barlow]'s room after every show.
"My ladies are looking amazing too. I try to let my girls wear whatever they want to express through fashion, but I'd never let them walk on stage in something they felt uncomfortable in."
