The Destiny's Child singer was rumoured to be leaving the talent show over her feud with fellow judge Tulisa Contostavlos.
However, Rowland's spokesman told The Sunday Mirror: "Kelly is making great progress and is expected to be on a plane back to the UK to take up her place back on the X Factor judging panel next week.
"Rumours of her quitting are completely untrue. Her doctor has said she needs a few days so we're confident that she will be flying back early next week after her latest check-up.
"She remains in contact with her girls and is fully supporting them this weekend," the statement ended.
The 30-year-old has been replaced this weekend by Alexandra Burke after a throat infection meant she was unable to fly to the UK.
