Brucknell, who has repeatedly named the 'Marry The Night' singer as a musical inspiration, was voted out of the ITV contest tonight (November 13) following a sing-off with Misha B.

As Caroline Flack and Olly Murs wrapped up an interview with an emotional Brucknell on The Xtra Factor, GaGa stunned everyone by running onto the stage and giving the axed contestant a tight hug.
Brucknell could be seen shaking as GaGa, who performed on tonight's X Factor results show, patted her back comfortingly.

Both Brucknell and GaGa had tears streaming down their faces when they finally pulled away.
"I listened to your music all the way through The X Factor," Brucknell told GaGa as the pair held hands. "You really inspire me to be a better person."
GaGa then dragged Brucknell to "go have a drink", as Flack, Murs and the judges looked on, beaming.
Brucknell performed GaGa's 'The Edge Of Glory' in her first audition and left the show singing a few lines of her hero's track 'Born This Way'.
