The Britney Spears impersonator was eliminated from the ITV contest on Sunday (November 13), 24 hours after Lily re-entered as a replacement for axed singer Frankie Cocozza. The 17-year-old was initially voted out by mentor Kelly Rowland in the first week of the live stages.
Speaking to The Mirror, Brucknell revealed that Lily's delayed comeback had caused dissent amongst the acts.
"It's one of those things that I'm not in the show anymore so I can't really comment - but I think there's a few people in the show who are like, 'Oh it's not really fair'," the paper quotes her as saying. "It kind of is and it kind of isn't.
"I think there's a huge expectation of her now, so she's got to hold up to that end of the bargain now as well, and I think if she has a bad week a lot of people will be disappointed."
Brucknell has, however, denied several stories published about her today, writing on Twitter: "Hope the press stop printing b****cks about me very soon. LOVE X Factor and how DARE they say otherwise. Aaaagh!"
