The 22-year-old Liverpudlian singer, who was eliminated from the ITV1 talent show last night (November 20), argued that the four-piece have "achieved the most" during the live shows.
"I don't think it's down to who has got what it takes anymore. They all have the potential. But for me, the act that has grown and achieved the most is Little Mix," Colton told Digital Spy.
"Those girls have grown every week. The first couple of weeks they were always favourite to leave, they battled through that, and I really hope that they get what they deserve out of this."
Digital Spy readers backed Little Mix as the strongest performers on X Factor's Movies Week following their rendition of En Vogue's 'Don't Let Go (Love)'.
Tulisa Contostavlos's group told DS last week that they view themselves as a "modern Spice Girls".
