Matt Cardle will appear on 10 O'Clock Live tonight (February 22) to discuss "Britain's X Factor culture of entitlement".

The 2010 winner of the reality TV show will appear with LBC radio presenter Julia Hartley-Brewer and author Owen Jones on Channel 4's topical satire programme, its official Twitter feed confirmed.

Since his X Factor victory, Cardle has claimed that being on the show has "battered" his integrity.

He later suggested that his joint deal with Columbia separated him from the likes of Cher Lloyd and One Direction, who were signed solely to Simon Cowell's Syco label.

The panel discussion segment 10 'O Clock Live is usually chaired by show regular David Mitchell.

Previous guests this series have included Clarke Carlisle and Alastair Campbell talking about football on the first week and George Galloway and columnist Malcolm Rifkind talking about the Falklands on the second.
