'X Factor' star has secret link to Sharon

X Factor star Ben Mills has a secret link to judge Sharon Osbourne.

The mother of Ben's girlfriend has been friends with Osbourne for more than fifty years, but producers insist that Sharon only became aware of the link after she put the singer in her final four.

Insiders claim that Ben gets on extremely well with girlfriend Siobhan's mother Therese, who was born in the same street as Sharon and went to stage school with her.

A source told The Mirror: "They have remained friends through the years but Sharon hasn't seen Therese for more than 12 months. Sharon did not know about Ben's relationship with Siobhan until he was put through to her final four. He categorically got through on his own merits."
