The ITV1 talent show has yet to fully replace Kelly Rowland as the fourth judge alongside Louis Walsh, Gary Barlow and Tulisa Contostavlos.
A series of guest judges have appeared in the filmed auditions so far, including Leona Lewis, Rita Ora and Geri Halliwell.
The X Factor USA's former judge Nicole Scherzinger has been heavily tipped to replace Rowland, while past panellist Dannii Minogue is also thought to be in contention.
However, Simon Cowell's Britain's Got Talent colleague Holden suggested that a rotated guest judge would keep the show becoming stale.
"It keeps it fresh. Simon should keep it like that. But no amount of guest judges will make up for the fact they don't have a dancing dog on their show," she told The Sun.
Holden added that she is fully expecting to return to Britain's Got Talent next year, saying: "It worked brilliantly this year, so I'm sure we'll all be back."
Cowell said last month that he will invite all three Britain's Got Talent judges back next year.
