Robert eliminated from 'X Factor'

Simon has booted Robert Allen from X Factor after he landed in the bottom two with Eton Road.

Predictably, both Louis and Sharon sided with their respective acts in the final showdown, although Sharon conceded that the boyband had been "the fun factor" of the show. Louis was literally crying as decision time came.

Their alignments meant that the final decision rested with Simon and, despite having earlier criticised the group for being "individually... simply not good enough", he eventually picked Eton Road to stay.
