'X Factor' One Direction, Leona Lewis, Olly Murs in new promo - watch

Leona Lewis and One Direction have appeared in a brand new promo video for The X Factor.

Stars from the ITV talent show feature in the new clip, which documents how it launched their careers.

JLS, Olly Murs, Alexandra Burke and Little Mix also appear in the advert, which was posted on ITV's website.



Murs describes being on The X Factor as "the best job in the world", while Lewis says that the show was a "big learning experience" for her.

The clip ends with the tagline 'Whose time is now?', along with the judging lineup of Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh.

Gary Barlow has been tipped to take control of the over-25s in this year's competition.

The X Factor will return on ITV in the autumn.
