'X Factor' press launch: Judges, hosts, more on red carpet - pictures

X Factor judges Tulisa Contostavlos, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh have stepped out at the press launch for the show's ninth series today (August 16).

The trio were joined by host Dermot O'Leary and Xtra Factor presenter Caroline Flack for the event at London's Corinthia Hotel.

Frequent guest judge Sinitta and X Factor 2011 winners Little Mix were also in attendance, with the latter performing their new single 'Wings' before a screening of Saturday's premiere (August 18).

It was confirmed yesterday that Gary Barlow will not be at the press launch due to "personal circumstances".

The Take That star announced on August 6 that he and wife Dawn had lost their baby daughter Poppy, who was delivered stillborn.

The X Factor returns to ITV on Saturday at 8pm.
