Derby singer Nicola-Marie Bloor has been told to take her single off iTunes by X Factor bosses.

The contestant, who divided the judges with her performance on Saturday's audition show, has a track titled 'Freaky Tonight' available under the name Nikia Aniston.

She filmed a pop video for the song in 2011 and had a website, Facebook and Twitter account under the alter ego.

However, bosses have now insisted that she makes the song unavailable.

"All contestants have been asked to remove their recordings as it is essential all the contestants are treated fairly during the competition and, where possible, receive the same exposure," said a show rep.

"Nicola-Marie is in the process of removing the recording."

Last week, contestant Lucy Spraggan was forced to take her track 'Last Night' off iTunes after it reached No.2 in the download chart.

Barlow described Nicola-Marie's first audition at the weekend as "dated" and "annoying". However, Mel B was impressed by the singer's exuberant performance of 'Tell It to My Heart', claiming that she "grabbed my attention".

The X Factor continues on Saturdays on ITV.
